Kulgam: Gunfight breaks out between militants and goverment forces in Wanpora village of Qaimoh belt in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday morning.

Sources told Good Morning Kashmir that, a joint team of government forces including Police, army’s 1RR, CRPF and Kulgam police launched cordon and search operation in Wanpora area of the district.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering an encounter.
When contacted SSP Kulgam said, “I’m on site, right now i can’t say anything,” he said.
Meanwhile, Two to three militants are believed to be trapped and operation was under way when this report was filled.
