Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on saturday morning recorded fresh death due to the deadly virus (Covid-19) as retired doctor from Parraypora area of Srinagar died at SKIMS Medical College Hospital, Bemina.
Dr Reyaz Untoo, Principal of SKIMS MCH Bemina said the patient was undergoing treatment for Covid-19 since June 2 and was intubated and on Ventilator. “The Consultant and Senior Critical Care doctors were on spot managing the patient who could not survive despite all efforts,”

He became the 13th Srinagar resident and 54th in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
With this fresh death the total death toll due to COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 54.
