Budgam shooting needs to be impartially investigated: Omar

Srinagar: Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said that killing of a civilian by CRPF personnel should be investigated.

Omar took to twitter and wrote; “Very unfortunate. The circumstances surrounding this shooting need to be impartially investigated & findings made known. My condolences to the family of the deceased,” he wrote.

Earlier today, a civilian was killed after CRPF forces fired at him near Kawoosa village in Narbal area of central Kashmir Budgam district.
