BS Yediyurappa has announced his resignation as the Karnataka chief minister after weeks of uncertainty.
Yediyurappa even issued a word of caution to colleagues and said people have lost their faith in the government.

In a tweet, Yediyurappa said, “Deeply influenced by Jagajyoti Basavanna’s philosophy of Kayaka, Dasoha Tattva & the life of Lingaikya Shri Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga Mutt, I have dedicated my entire 50 years of public life towards nation building and fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Karnataka”.
Minutes before the news came in, BJP General Secretary CT Ravi said, “I congratulate BS Yediyurappa Ji for completing 2 years as CM today. He has done good work. He will continue to guide Karnataka and BJP.”
