Security forces on Saturday claimed to have recovered a cache of arms in Tangdhar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district
A police spokesperson tweeted that the weapon smuggling attempt by the militants was thwarted by Kupwara police and Army at the forward Jabdi Tangdhar sector today.
Kupwara Police & Army in an ops at the fowrad Jabdi Tangdhar Sector Kupwara today thwarted an attempt by #terrorists to #smuggle weapons. 03 AK-47 rifles & 06 magazines and 04 pistols & 9 magazines have been recovered from the spot. As per the spokesperson, three AK-47 rifles and six magazines, and four pistols and nine magazines have been recovered from the spot.
