Srinagar: A 29-year-old Covid-19 positive patient from Habba Kadal area of Srinagar district recorded 13th death due to deadly Coronavirus at Chest Disease Hospital on Sunday afternoon.
Dr Salim Khan nodal officer GMC Srinagar said that the patient from Habba Kadal who had tested positive on May 15 for Covid-19 died today afternoon.
Dr Khan said that the victim was previously operated in SMHS Hospital Srinagar by ENT surgeons for Ludwig’s Angina (submandibular abscess) and mediastinitis and had septic shock.
“She was in Surgical ICU there and tested positive for COVID-19. She was shifted to CD Hospital two days back,” he said.
With her death, the death toll due to novel coronavirus has mounted to 13 in Jammu and Kashmir including 11 from Kashmir division and two from Jammu division.
