Islamabad: Seven additional Pakistani cricketers tested positive for the deadly virus (Covid-19) ahead of a forthcoming England tour, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced Tuesday.
The number of infected members of the national team is now 10. Three cricketers, including top off-spinner Shadab Khan, tested positive Monday.
Other players include Fakhar Zaman, Imran Khan, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan, Wahab Riaz, Haider Ali and Haris Rauf.
No player reported any symptoms of COVID-19 before undergoing tests Monday ahead of a departure on June 28 for England, PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan said in a video message.
