Militants attack CRPF patrol in south Kashmir

Srinagar: Suspected militants attacked an CRPF patrol party in the Bijbehara area of southern Anantnag district on Friday.

Reports said that the militants fired upon a patrol party of the CRPF’s 90 battalion in Bijbehara area of Anantnag before escaping.

Unconfirmed reports also said that, one CRPF jawan was injured in the attack on CRPF patrol party.

Soon after the incident, the area was cordoned off by security forces to nab the attackers, a police officer said.
