Ladakh: Three Indian soldiers were killed in hand-to-hand clashes in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh last night by Chinese troops as the threat of a full-blown war intensifies.
“A further 34 Indian soldiers are also missing – believed to either be dead or captured – senior Indian Army sources were quoted as saying by the Telegraph, although this has not been confirmed by the government.
“Now hearing that the casualty count on the Indian side is significantly higher than what the initial reports stated. Also, many Indian soldiers captured and then released, an Indian major still held by the Chinese,” tweeted defence expert and senior journalist Ajai Shukla.
