In a landmark medical achievement, the District Hospital (DH) Samba successfully performed its first endoscopic tympanoplasty on a 19-year-old female patient. The patient, who had been suffering from ear discharge and decreased hearing for the past year, underwent the procedure under the expert care of Dr. Deepshikha Sumbria, ENT surgeon.
This significant medical milestone was reached under the guidance of the esteemed Director of Health Services, Dr. Rakesh Magotra, and the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Samba, Dr. Vidhi Bhutial. The operation was meticulously supervised by Dr. Mohinder Kumar, Medical Superintendent (MS) of Samba.
