Forces lay seige in twin villages of South Kashmir

Srinagar: Government forces on monday evening launched Cordon and Search operation in twin villages of South kashmir’s Pulwama district

Sources said GMK that a joint team of Armed forces including Army’s 53 RR, Special Operation Group of local Police and 183 Battalion of paramilitary CRPF.

Sources informed that Army, police and paramilitary CRPF jointly launched Search operation in Hanzwani Mohalla of Rohmu and Putrigam villages after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants.

He said door to door search operation was initiated and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed, adding that the operation was going on when the reports last came in.
