FIR lodged against Zee News for ‘hurting’ religious beliefs of Muslims

The Kerala Police has filed an FIR against Zee News Editor-in-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary after a complaint which accused him of offending religious beliefs.

1. The FIR, filed under the non-bailable section 295A of the Indian Penal Code, says, “On March 11, 2020, the accused aired content on his show DNA on Zee TV, which insulted the Muslim community.”
