Centre allows Patanjali to sell its medicine as immunity booster but not as ‘cure’

New Delhi: The Ministry of AYUSH has given permission to Patanjali Ayurved to sell the company’s particular formulation as immunity booster and not as a medicinal cure for the coronavirus.

At a press conference in Haridwar, Ramdev claimed the ministry has said that Patanjali did an appropriate job for management of the coronavirus. He added that the Union ministry had asked him to use the term “Covid management” in place of “Covid treatment”.

Ramdev had last week launched a drug called “Coronil”, claiming it can cure the coronavirus.
