New Delhi: The Solicitor General has told the Supreme Court to cancel the pending CBSE board exams scheduled in July.
CBSE has decided to cancel the CBSE class 10 exams completely, while the CBSE class 12 exams are now optional.
The board would instead be assessing the students based on the scores of previous three examinations and declaring the class 10, 12 results by July 15. CBSE Class 12 students, however, would have an option to appear for the remaining papers later when the situation is conducive. For Class 10 students, however, no such option is available.
In case the CBSE class 12 board exams are carried out when the Covid-19 situation gets better, these students can choose to appear for the CBSE board exams at that time.
