Youth shot dead in Srinagar

A youth was shot dead by an unknown gunmen  in Bohri Kadal area of Srinagar on Monday evening, officials said

The slain identified as Ibrahim Ahmad of Ashtangi Bandipora was shot dead inside a Chemist shop in the congested locality, a police official said. He fell on the road and was shifted to hospital for treatment.
However, he succumbed to his injuries at hospital.

Soon after the incident, government forces rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. They carried out searches to nab the assailants.
