Mutahir shared that Nooruk Safar follows a young Kashmiri boy who, in search of friendship, faces many challenges in life. He becomes involved in a forbidden relationship, which causes him to lose his peace and innocence. This toxic relationship eventually leads him into addiction, changing his life in painful ways and affecting his family’s view of him.

At his lowest point, the boy turns to Allah, seeking help and a fresh start. This becomes the beginning of his journey toward healing and rediscovering love and faith.

Mutahir explained that he wanted to address the impact of forbidden relationships on young people, which can often lead to stress, sadness, and harmful behaviors. “These relationships may seem exciting at first, but they often end up causing a lot of pain,” he said. He noted that drug use is a growing issue in Kashmir, and relationships like these can play a role in that problem.

With Nooruk Safar, Mutahir aims to show how easy it can be to lose one’s way due to negative influences and how difficult it can be to find peace again. “This book is a story that warns young people about these challenges and shows the struggle of someone trying to rebuild his life,” he added.

Earlier this month, Mutahir released another book, Shadows That Shape Us, focused on personal growth and self-help. Through his books and podcasts, he hopes to encourage young people to make healthier choices and find strength in faith.

Mutahir expressed gratitude for the positive response to Nooruk Safar, which is now available internationally on platforms like Amazon and Barnes & Noble. “The feedback has been encouraging,” he shared. “Readers connect with its message of faith, forgiveness, and finding strength in Allah.”

Through his work, Mutahir Showkat hopes to inspire young readers in Kashmir and beyond, offering stories that teach important lessons about life and resilience.
