World Teachers’ Day is passionately celebrated on 5th of October (Today) all over the world. Teachers’ day is important for all educational institutions. The day is honoured to praise the contributions and efforts of teachers all through their lives. Teachers are like a honeybee who labour to give sweetness to others. These mentors not only give us knowledge from books but also teach us the lessons of life. A teacher has a major role to play in shaping the future of the students and help us becoming successful in our respective careers. The future of every nation completely lies in hands of respected teachers. So in return to years of hard work the students make plans to surprise their teachers and make this day extraordinary. On this day, students from schools, colleges, and universities organize functions to make their teachers feel happy and special during this day. They give performances to appreciate their hard work in this field. They prepare thankyou speeches and distribute greeting cards with a lot of compliments written on them to make them feel special. Some of them even make handmade cards while others give gorgeous gifts.
Students also organize small plays where they imitate their teachers by making them laugh. The day is filled with lots of excitement. Students also sing beautiful songs for their to gear up their enthusiasm. This gesture makes them contented with their profession. They keep on waiting for this day for a whole year to see the love and respect of students towards them. They assure them that they are professionally doing great and have reached to the expectations of the students. Teachers later thank the students for their care and affection. They must be remembered for a whole lifetime and respected when they get old. They sacrifice everything just to see us stand on our own feet. They always love to see us successful. They want to see their students blossom like flowers. So always respect and love your teachers.
