Woman found dead in central Kashmir’s Srinagar

An unidentified woman was found dead in Maloora area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, officials said on Tuesday.

Reports said that the  female body was recovered from Jhelum river near Maloora of the city by locals.

An official told  Good Morning Kashmir that some locals spotted a female body  following which they informed nearby police station.

Soon After receiving the information, a team of police rushed to the spot.

“We are ascertaining the identity of the body and have registered a case accordingly, The body will be taken to hospital for further Legal formalities,” the official said.
