Srinagar: A woman died due to electrocution in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

An official told Good Morning Kashmir that Khalida Begum (37) received an electric shock when she came in contact with a live wire.

“There was some construction work going on at her home. when she came in contact with the live wire,” the official said.
The official said that she was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
