Unconditional support to the poor is charity. It is a moral duty of a modern human being to think of the upliftment of despondence and the downtrodden people from the marginalized portion of society. Charitable trust is an answer to the miseries faced by the deponents and destitute. Democracy believes that there must be an equitable share of resources and should be distributed equally but practically the resources go to only the rich and the poor people had to suffer. Millions of people including small innocent toddlers suffer due to extreme poverty or at the hands of the elite classes. People sleep without food for days yet they never complain. Here we are not talking about clothing and shelter but food is the top necessity for a human being which should reach them immediately. Charitable organizations do not reach every person and if it was so then why are maximum people hungry on the streets, without clothes and shelter? Some of them die sick because they cannot pay the medical charges.
Small kids wander here and there for food and the final hope is dustbins and the garbage where they can search for food when they eat it, they often catch infections and get ill which later on ends up in chronic illnesses. Where is the charitable Money going? Wealthy nations establish and operate big charitable organizations and the money donors trust them blindly without knowing where the money is sinking. Money donors are great people who not only care for themselves but look after a poor person fed every single day. Their intention is to help ailing and needy people. But what exactly happens is that sometimes their charity is being misused by some organizations that is the only reason “poverty” remains. Governments all over the world must monitor and keep an account of the money collected to reach the needy and the ailing people. This world is an illusion. The purpose of life is to serve mankind. The creator tests people on the intensity of their faith, the stronger the faith, the harder the test. Some people are tested with sickness and poverty whereas others are with calamities. A person who gives charity feels most satisfied. It means to be generous and sympathetic towards the needy. Giving charity is a noble quality that a human can acquire. Charity is raising people during their weak financial times. The question which arises here is that if countless organizations are there, then why people are still dying of hunger? Is it not a test for richer countries to help the poorest nations? Charity can be given through trusts, organizations, or individually. The money donors must have full information about a particular organization and must be alert that it goes into safe hands.
