The weather department on Tuesday predicted one week wet spell across Jammu and Kashmir during which most places in the Union Territory will receive light rainfall while some places, especially higher0ups including Gulmarg, Zojila, and may witness light to moderate snowfall.
“Overall the next one week will witness rainy weather. The weather is likely to remain cloudy on Tuesday and Wednesday with rains at scattered places. Another Western Disturbance is likely to hit J&K on Wednesday evening resulting in fairly widespread rains during March 11 and 12,” said a MeT official.

The official further said that wet spell was likely during March 14 and 15.
Meanwhile, the inclement weather has led to a sharp fall in temperatures after the Valley witnessed pleasant weather in February.
