The Indian cricket team is back home after achieving what was expected of them – winning the World Cup T20 trophy. Even though they were expected to reach Indian shores much earlier but due to the storm in Caribbean their flight got delayed. The west Indies cricket board must also be congratulated for organizing such a wonderful tournament. Everything was upto the mark. In Perfect harmony everything appears like a dream.
The expression of Rohit Sharma kissing the ground will remain etched in the memory of all Indians for many decades. It was a cup that took a lot of time to fall in India’ s lap. India would reach semi-finals and finals but in last decade or so never managed to lift the trophy. This year was special as India started the cup as favourites as always. There were polished talents like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah who steered the Indian cricket team’s prospects towards victory. All the match winners played a critical hand and the results were before the world to see.

Rohit Sharma would be missed for his elegant batting style which was free flowing and unsparing at the same time.
