Two south Kashmir residents dead as shooting stone hits truck

Two Pulwama residents died after a shooting stone hit their truck on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway near Digdole area of Ramban on Wednesday.

Quoting an official the news agency KNO reported that due to continuous rainfall, shooting stones came crushing down and hit a truck near Digdole.

He said in the incident truck driver and conductor, both residents of Pulwama, died on the spot.

They have been identified as Maqsood Ahmad (driver) son of Abdul Rehman Lone and Naveed Ahmad (conductor) son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar.
