Srinagar: Two unindentified militants and one CRPF personal were killed in an ongoing gunfight between militants and government forces in Bandzoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Police said that, two militants were killed during encounter, adding that one CRPF trooper was also killed in the exchange of firing.

Earlier reports said that on a tip off about the presence of militants, a joint team of Army’s 55RR, Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a joint search operation in Bandzoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Meanwhile authorities have suspended internet services in area as a precautionary measure in wake of the encounter.
