Srinagar: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested two Jaish militant associates in Tral area of Awantiopora belt.

In a statement issued, the police said that it arrested two jaish militant associates from Tral and Pampore area who are involved in providing shelter, support, logistics as well as in transporting of arms/ ammunition of the militants in area.

The police identified the duo as Bilal Ahmad Chopan, a resident og Wagad area of Tral and Mursaleen Bashir, a resident of Chatlam area ofPampore.
“Incriminating material has been recovered from both the arrested persons,” said the police spokesperson.
