Two civilians injured in Srinagar grenade attack

Two civilians got injured when suspected militants hurled a grenade on Naka Party at Eidgah area of Srinagar city on Wednesday evening.

Officials said a grenade was thrown at the security forces near Aali Masjid in Eidgah area, which was bustling with civilians.

“At about 6:15 pm, militants hurled a grenade upon the Naka Party which missed the target and exploded on the roadside,” a police official said.

The injured have been admitted to hospital.
