Srinagar: Two army men were injured in accidental fire in Kandi Khass area of Kupwara district, officials said on Thursday.

Official sources said that the rifle of a soldier accidentally went off, resulting in injuries to two army men.

The official identified duo as Lakhwinder Singh and Mahinder Singh of 47 Rashtriya Rifles.
“Duo have been shifted to 92 base hospital in Srinagar,” he said. Adding that that their condition is said to be stable.
