A young man drowned while his brother and a cousin brother were rescued on Friday after their boat capsized in Wullar Lake in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Quoting officials news agency KDC reported that two brothers Muzaffar Ahmad and Zaffar Ahmad both sons of Farooq Ahmad Kawa and their cousin Bilal Ahmad son of Mohammad Ashraf were collecting (Kharoo) grass in a boat when their boat capsized in Wullar Lake.
A police officer while confirming the incident said that two minor boys Bilal (16) and Zaffar (17) have been rescued immediately while Muzaffar Ahmad (20) died.
A case under relevant section of law is being registered and further investigation is on, the officer added.
