In view of traffic jams on Boulevard road and problems being faced by pedestrians and tourists, Traffic Department Srinagar on Tuesday declared the road stretch from Badyari Chowk Dalgate – Nehru Park as “No Halt Zone” for vehicles.
As per the news agency CNS, the Traffic City Srinagar in a tweet said, “In order to avoid congestion on Boulevard Road and facilitate movement of residents and tourists. Road stretch from Badyari Chowk Dalgate upto Nehru Park is declared As “No Halt Zone” for vehicles.”
They further said that no vehicles shall be allowed to stop or park on the stretch from Badyari Chowk Dalgate to Nehru Park.
“People are requested to use designated parking lots. Non-compliance shall lead to towing of vehicles and initiation of legal proceedings,” added the traffic city department in the tweet. (CNS)
