Residents of Tilgam village in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district have alleged lack of drainage facilities in the village.
The residents of the area of the village said that the area which is located at a distance of just 10 km from Pattan town, lacks proper drainage facilities due to which the locals are facing lot of problems.
“Due to poor drainage system from the house of MIr Abdullah upto the house of Wali Mohd Lone, we face a lot of problems, particularly during rains and snow,” Pervaiz Ahmad, a local resident of Tilgam said.
The residents said that despite repeated requests to the concerned authorities failed to lay a drainage system in the area.
The people demanded that the concerned departments should take notice of their grievances and mitigate their sufferings.
