A terror-linked person was apprehended by the Indian Army’s Romeo Force and Special Operation Group (SOG) in in the Surankot Sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir
An official said that four grenades were recovered from him during a joint operation in Dundak area of Surankot Sector.
The official said that the last 2-3 grenade attacks in Poonch City and Surankot are supposed to be solved with the apprehension of the terror-linked person.
“A terror-linked person was apprehended by the Indian Army’s Romeo Force and SOG of Poonch Police in a joint operation in the Dundak area of Surankot Sector of Poonch. 4 grenades were recovered from the apprehended person, and the investigation is underway to trace more terror links.
The last 2-3 grenade attacks in Poonch City and Surankot are supposed to be solved with the apprehension of the terror-linked person,” a police spokesperson said.—(NVI)
