There is an old saying that you can recreate lost wealth, but you can’t get back lost time. That is exactly what the Kashmir children are experiencing. Online classes are a nightmare for students these days. It is the worst experience for them. There are many children unable to give exams because of a lack of e-learning and others giving exams either by copying it from Google or a textbook. The lack of in-person face-to-face interaction has affected the proper understanding of facts for them. They sometimes don’t even know what they are writing, yet they are compelled to do so in order to complete the syllabus and the burden their teachers face, even the good majority of these students have no availability of smartphones, which then obviously puts these students at a disadvantageous position, we need to take care of this fact too and try our best to reach out to these students as well. Furthermore, purchasing data plans for learning could also incur a lot of expenses for families who face financial constraints. It could further affect the participation levels of both teachers and students concerning live classes. For children to really get benefit from these classes’ family support is essential. Simply this online teaching is an arduous task. Time is precious for any student, be it a rural or urban child, and nobody intends to waste their time but the government should take steps to check whether every student has his gadget to learn and listen through online mode. The only solution to this problem is knowing exactly what kind of technological support they will need for a certain course before enrolling in it.
