The health sub-centre building in Bandi Bala village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla has been awaiting its completion, with no intervention from the concerned authorities for more than six years, locals said.
Locals from Bandi Bala area of Kreeri Tehsil said that even after the lapse of more than six years, the construction work on the said building of sub-centre is awaiting completion.
They said that more than six years have passed since the material was laid for the sub centre in Bandi Bala, but it is yet to be completed, showing the lackadaisical approach of the authorities.

“We have been facing many issues as the centre operates from one room only. Construction of the building with the facilities would have mitigated our problems but, unfortunately, it took many years so far, and is yet to be completed,” Mohammad Haleem, a local resident said.
“We are being compelled to visit other places for seeking medical treatment,” Haleem added.
Meanwhile, the residents demanded immediate intervention of authorities in completing the work on the sub centre in the village.
