Someone once said that bad and good people are found in any community or society. Good humans bring laurels to their community, state, UT, and country. People who are insane, adamant, arrogant, gangsters, fraudulent, carrying illicit things, or stubborn have no identity; such people should be expelled from the human class. So we should remember one thing: people who indulge in illegal tasks are enemies of all of humanity and are destroying the country. Every religion teaches us the teachings of truthfulness, caring for each other, living for the whole of humanity, respecting women, and securing children from all the evils in society. So it is very simple: people who are spreading illegality and making illegal things legal for their own sake should be punished under the law and have no dignified place in society.
These days in the valley, scams are rising. Why?
Kashmir Valley has such a rich history that the people of the valley are so humble, helpful, kind, and known for great hospitality. That’s why tourists feel safe and secure, who come from all corners of the world. As we know, Kashmir Valley has a unique identity throughout the world for its pleasant weather, clear crystal water, lush green frosts, bizarre waterfalls, lofty snow-clad mountains, and several great and sensuous beauty. Most tourists consider the Kashmir Valley the ‘’most beautiful place on earth’’. For me, there is no place in Kashmir for the miscreant people, no place for the people who spoil the identity of the valley. Our ‘Pir Vaer’ is renowned for the great mystic, towering scholars for centuries. Towerings and mystic religious preachers are buried here. He taught great teachings to the whole of humanity and spread Islamic teachings. He taught us that there is no place for discrimination, to live together, to take care of, and to provide security to every individual, no matter his or her religion. That’s why the people of every religion live together with great brotherhood, having equal respect, and having equal concern for each other.
Who are scammers?
Different people have different suggestions regarding the scams in the valley. Like unemployment, lack of counseling, involvement in illicit drugs, a lower income gallery of requirements, a lack of moral knowledge, wanting to live a luxurious life without undergoing hardships, not believing in themselves that they can earn what they want, and competition that makes others rich, comfortable, and stable. Some people don’t like your stability and don’t want to see you as a respected and dignified citizen, so they get after you and want to destroy you in many ways. So keep your secrets to yourself and believe in good.
How can we control scams and other evils in our society?
Today, science is getting advanced, and every day we are getting so many advanced and useful gadgets and Android applications that make our burden easy, and we are enjoying every advanced technology in our homes, offices, and everywhere. But we should know that only 10% of the money is physical, and the remaining is digitally transferred by different agencies. Even today, every one among us has learned how to transfer money on Android apps, and digital transactions are being used everywhere, from small tea stalls to shopping malls. So it is our responsibility to keep vigilant, be smart, and never share your details—most importantly, banking details, Aadhaar details, and OTPs (one-time passwords)—with anyone around you.
A recent scam of about 60 crores in the valley jolted everyone’s mind about how people are so innocent, or, I can say, foolish, that they believe that they will become milliners one night. Those who still believe that they become millionaires within one year should read the success stories of the world’s recent millionaires and how they became such great and renowned personalities. In shortcuts, you have risk, just as in share markets, etc.
What role does social media play in spreading unauthorized information?
You tubers or those with fame on social media should avoid promoting money-making tricks, as most innocent people are losing their precious assets. Before investing in or trusting anyone, consult government officials like the police, etc. No one stops you from where you are investing and what you are purchasing. It is you who can go ahead after proper verification and do what vigilant people do. Don’t be so insane and foollike that anyone can loot you and keep you in trauma.
