SSB personnel shoots himself dead

A paramilitary trooper on Friday shot himself dead with his service rifle in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Quoting an official the news agency KNO reported that a Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel shot himself with his service rifle in Dignibal area of Ganderbal today evening, resulting in his on spot death.

He said that the reason of him taking this extreme step was not immediately known.

The official added that a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up.
