SSB organises Bharat Darshan tours for Kashmiri students as part of Civil Action Programme

On the direction of Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India and Force Head Quarter Sashastra Seema Bal, 02 BN SSB, Pattan, sent a contingent of 30 Kashmiri youth of different areas from Kashmir Valley for educational-cum-motivational Bharat Darshan Tour to New Delhi and Jaipur.

During the 7-day tour, this group will visit all the major tourist attraction in and around Delhi, likei.e. Red Fort, India Gate, Shaheed Smarak, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple etc spreading the message of love and peace from the valley. During the tour, the groups are provided with free lodging, boarding, clothing and transportation.

Sh. Anjay Kumar Rajak, Second-in-Command, 02 Bn SSB graced the occasion and flagged off the said tour. In the flag off ceremony, other dignitaries i.e. Sh. Altaf Ahmad, Dy.SP(Ops) JKP Pattan,  Sh. Santosh Kumar, Dy. Commandant, Sh. Deepak Tomer, Dy. Commandant,  Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Malla, DC(MO), Sh. Pramod Kumar, Assistant Commandant  of 02 Bn SSB Pattan and Media persons were present.

Prior to this, Sh. Anjay Kumar Rajak, Second-In-Command, 02 Bn SSB has briefed the participants about the said tour programme which is commencing from 16/02/2023 and concluding on 23/02/2023. The main moto of the tour is to give the participants an exposure about the social and cultural diversity of India so that they feel socially, culturally and emotionally integrated with the rest of the country and also to show them cultural and socio-economic development taking place in other parts of the country.

In the seven days tour programme, the participants will visit various historical places in New Delhi and Jaipur. (i.e. Red Fort, India Gate, Shaheed Smarak, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple at New Delhi and Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Amer Palace/Fort, Anokhi Museum, Albert Hall at Jaipur). They will also meet with the worthy Director General, SSB at New Delhi on 22/02/2023.

Sh. Anjay Kumar Rajak, Second-in-Command, 02 Bn SSB, Pattan extended gratitude towards the parents of the participants for believing in the force and allowing their wards for participating in the said event and also said that SSB will organize such more programmes in near future.
