Srinagar shocker: 13-year-old girl sexually assaulted, accused arrested

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar, police said on Monday.

“A minor girl of around 13 years (name withheld) was kidnapped & sexually assaulted by one Adil Shafi Hajam (21 yrs) S/o Md Shafi Hajam R/o Syed colony,Nishat. FIR No 61/22 U/s 366, 376 IPC & 3/4 POCSO Act reg. at Rajbagh PS. Special team was constituted & the accused was arrested,” tweeted Srinagar Police.
