Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on saturday evening recorded fresh death due to deadly virus (Covid-19) as a 60-year-old man from Nowgam area of Srinagar city died at Srinagar hospital.

A medico said that a 60-year-old man from Nowgam area of Srinagar who was admitted as asymptomatic Covid-19 on June 05 having underlying Diabetes, Hypertension and CKD suddenly became breathless at around 8.00 pm this evening and developed unconsciousness. He as per the reports was supposed to be discharged tomorrow.
He became the 14th Srinagar resident and 57th in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
With this fresh death the total death toll due to Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 57
