Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning recorded 2nd death due to the deadly virus ( COVID-19 ) as a 40-year-old from Safa Kadal Srinagar and died here at hospital.
MS CD, Dr Salim Tak said that 40-years-old lady from Safa Kadal with underlying heart ailment and diabetes died today morning.
He Further added that the lady was admitted six days ago in SHMS and after testing positive for deadly Virus (COVID19). She was referred to CD hospital on June 14.
She became the 19th Srinagar resident and 78th in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
With this fresh death the total death toll due to COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 78
