The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH44) was reopened on Monday afternoon for two-way traffic for Light Motor Vehicles, while Heavy Motor Vehicles will be allowed to move from towards Jammu.

“One-way traffic is allowed at the sinking portion in Maroog, Ramban. Stranded traffic on both sides of the landslide area is being cleared one by one,” he added.
The highway had been closed for traffic after rainfall, which caused a portion of road to sink in Ramban.
