Shams Alam, Para Athlete wins big in Assam Para swimming champion.
Shams Alam has won 2 Gold and 1 Bronze medal in XXII National Para Swimming Championship held on 11-13 November 2022 at Dr. Zakir Hussain aquatic complex Guwahati Assam.

He swam his personal best in 100 meters breast stroke 2:27.65 & gave my session best in 50 meters butterfly 0:50.54 and 200 IM 04:44.40 Shams has show improvement in his World and Asian ranking in both the event. He thanked his coaches, family, friends and support staff of Sports authority of India Gandhinagar for supporting him.
He is also grateful to the Para sports association Bihar, Sports development authority of Bihar for their constant support and encouragement.
