Security forces recover arms, ammunition during searches in Budgam

Security forces on Monday claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition in Chewdara – Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Official sources told Good Morning Kashmir that a joint team of the army, CRPF and Police recovered ammunition from a residential house in Chewdara area of the district.

“During the search operation two hand grenades, four detonators, and 25 live rounds were recovered,” said a senior police official.

An official said that the police have registered a case under relevant sections of law in this regard.
