Security forces launch search operation in Budgam village

Security forces on Wednesday afternoon launched a Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) in Saidpora – Beerwah area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A police official said that, a Joint contingent of police, CRPF and Army’s 53-RR launched search operation in Saidapora area of the district today afternoon after receiving inputs about the presence of militants  in the area.

Official said that all entry and exit points towards the area were sealed off by the security forces. However Searches were going on in the area when this report was filed.
