Search operations launched in several south Kashmir villages

Srinagar: Security forces on Thursday launched Cordon-and-Search-Operations in several villages of south Kashmir.

Reports said that searches were launched by security forces in four districts of Shopian, Anantnag, and Pulwama.

Official sources said that, the operations were launched following a tip-off about the presence of militants in the areas.

Huse to house searches were going on in the area, when this report was filed.
