Students enrolled in an educational institute are capable of doing great miracles in every field. Like in science and technology, education, health, agriculture, horticulture, pisciculture, business, and all that we are experiencing in our day-to-day life.
Great minds never beg for government jobs, and they are never like luxurious life. Great minds are always trying to generate employment; great minds are the great assets for any nation. The nation is proud of those who have done their part in any field and are taking the country towards new heights.
Today our country is enlisted among the top countries that have cutting-edge technology. The science and technology sector of our country is taking new heights. Like the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the surface of the moon.
In our country, students have immense creativity and talent, have the potential that our young minds can change the thoughts of whole worlds, and have the caliber that our young minds bring the revolution in our country till 2048. 2048 will be very special as that year grants us a chance to celebrate 100th Independence Day.
As the 15th of August 1947 year passed, every individual knowns the specialty of this day. This day was very special for the whole nation because on this day India got independence from the Britishers. They ruled our country for about 200 years from and looted great assets of our country. We salute all the patriotic leaders who fought for the cause of independence and kicked out foreign rulers from here.
India has rich and vast diversities of different cultures and languages spoken in different parts of the country. To live with full liberty and enjoy our core cultures, it was very important for all of us to get liberty from the Britishers. After the independence, our country gives a chance to all religions, castes, and sexes to come forward and take the country to new heights in various fields.
Today every individual from any part of the country may participate in national-level competitive exams, and every individual has the fundamental right to live with peace and prosperity in the country.
Today all the developed countries in the world came to know that India is heading with great pace in the cutting-edge technology field, and the young minds are very keen to innovate and discover new ideas for the welfare of our nation and for the betterment of the whole world.
Today most of the advanced technologies are used worldwide, and with the passage of time, a number of cultures are being mingled and enjoyed worldwide, like foods, clothes, and technologies. I hope all the 195 countries may unite and fight for serious environmental issues, innocent killings, drug menaces, health, poverty, and food. Such issues should be redressed globally.
Literally today in this article I am going to explore the miracles of a centrally sponsored scheme that is school innovation and marathon. School innovation marathon, or SIM, is a great scheme for the students enrolled from 6th to 12th in the school. School innovation and marathon is envisioned as countries (India’s) largest school innovation challenge organized jointly by the Ministry of Education, the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog (NITI stands for National Institute for Transforming India), and the Ministry of Education’s innovation cell (MIC), where students from all schools of the nation identify community problems of their choice and develop innovative prototypes (a simple model with creative ideas). The top teams of the school innovation marathon will get funding support from the ministry of education.
How to motivate students towards such beneficial schemes
Schemes like Inspire Awards are sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. In this scheme, students from 6th to 12th grade can forward their innovative ideas through a proper channel. This scheme provides a great chance for students to become junior scientists and have the great chance to visit Sakura, Japan, where they have the chance to pose only Roberts in the world’s top-class laboratory.
If your idea is selected by the DST, or department of science and technology, an amount of Rs 10,000 (ten thousand only) will be credited into your account and a certificate signed by the top-ranking scientist of India. One more scheme, that’s Toy Cathon. Toy Cathon is a great scheme where students can work on the past culture and may promote the ancient games by different means and get big rewards at various exhibitions.
Teachers can provide a chance for their pupils to develop new ideas about how you can be a problem solver in your society. Every existing problem faced by patients, students at the schools, and passengers in the transport can be solved by our great and scientifically educated youths. Every student has the right to develop an idea and put it forward to higher-ups, where they select and provide funding for future progress.
Every human being is a scientist, so never miss the chance to become a scientist at a very early age.
How to register a school and nominate students under the School Innovation and Marathon 2024-2025 program. First of all, open Google Chrome or any other browser. Type school innovation and marathon.org.
Open the first link, schoolinnovationmarathon.org. Click on the registration icon. Filling out all the credentials, like name, school UDISE ID, valid mail, etc.
After registering your school, a computer-known teacher has to create teams, like a minimum of two students in a team and a maximum of three students. After creating teams, team IDs and passwords may generate automatically. One thing very interesting is that all the members of the same team may work on the same prototype collectively. All the students have to join the pre-survey, then have to complete the student’s course where they get basic knowledge about the school innovation and marathon. The course is in the form of videos in English; after watching the videos of every chapter, you have to clear a quiz. Ten questions are asked, and 60% marks are mandatory, which means you have to correctly answer 6 questions.
A teacher has the option to supervise all the teams from the teacher’s own account and may guide the students in case they have any problems. After completion of the students course and idea submission, teachers have to upload a synopsis in a Word file. A short video of students with prototypes can be uploaded.
A teacher too has to go under the teacher course and accordingly guide their creative students and have to help them during the whole processing of the scheme.
