Rajouri patient loses COVID-19 battle, J-K toll 53

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on friday recorded fresh death due to COVID-19 as 65-year-old man from Sialsui village of Rajouri has died at Government Medical College Jammu.

Medical Superintendent of GMC Jammu, said that his test report for Covid-19 came positive on June 2 and today morning the patient has died. He was undergoing treatment from past few days.

He became the first Rajouri resident and 53th in the Jammu and Kashmir to succumb to the virus.
