Muslims neighbors of Kashmir Pandit who was killed by terrorists in Achan village of Pulwama district yesterday, helped his family members to perform the last rites on Monday. They also shouldered his coffin and arranged wood for the cremation. Common people have faced so many difficulties dealing with the situation from time to time. Be it a Kashmiri Muslim or a Kashmiri pandit, a human loses his life. It is unfortunate that once again a Kashmiri pandit family lost their loved one causing them grief and shock. The family receives horrifying news about the killing of their son. On the wretched Sunday, Sanjay Sharma a Kashmiri Pandit was killed by terrorists which created panic in the valley. Sanjay’s family was the only Kashmiri pandit family in the Achan locality. He worked as a bank guard to provide a livelihood to his family. The Muslims in the area performed the last rites of the innocent Sanjay. Tears and regrets were seen in the eyes of his Kashmiri friends and neighbors. Mudasir Ahmed a man from his locality said that our heart goes out to Sanjay who we treated just like our brother. He also said that the Muslim community arranged everything required from his funeral and cremation. All people in the valley must come together and promote brotherhood with each other. We must be kind and love one another so that a sense of unity. Whether a Muslim dies or a Hindu, both are humans and have a right to live. It is heart-wrenching that innocent souls are being killed. We have forgotten humanity and love for mankind. Killing one innocent person means murdering the whole of humanity. Today it is not only Sanjay who has been killed but his whole family has to suffer. The family is yearning for their son and hope he would return but the reality is Sanjay is only a memory for them and there is no way of returning in this world. The family’s hopes have been shattered, they don’t know how to handle this pain.
