Ghulam Ahmad Pir, the grandfather of PTI journalist Pirzada Shakir, passed away on Sunday (Jan 12).
Pir was the native of Allachizab area of Kupwara district. The departed soul was a humble soul.

Journalist fraternity has expressed grief over the demise of Pir and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
The chaharum of the deceased will be observed on (Wednesday).
Meanwhile, the staffers of Good Morning Kashmir held a condolence meeting and prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
