Kulgam : A policeman was shot a in Frisal, Yaripora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.
Official sources said that, suspected militants lobbed Grenade at the checkpoint followed by firing in which a cop sustained critical injuries.
The cop was identitied as Mohammad Amin in Frisal Yaripora area of Kulgam. He was rushed to hospital where he later sucumbed to injuries.
Area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
