Police have arrested a senior journalist from south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, reports said here on Tuesday.

Quoting a top police official, news agency KNO reported that senior journalist Khalid Gul has been arrested by the police.
The official said that Khalid was arrested in an old case filed in 2017.
His residence was searched by the police on November 19 in connection with the investigation of a case related to online threat to journalists in Kashmir.
Khalid Gul was associated with a leading newspaper of Jammu and Kashmir for the last many years.
